Jessie L. Priester, is from the great state of Mississippi, is the wife of Senior/Pastor, Michael L. Priester and the First Lady of Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Priester has served for 25 years in many capacities, as an exemplary leader and an example of a virtuous woman.
Mrs. Priester is now a student of Trinity College of the Bible, studying for her bachelor of Arts in Biblical Leadership and ministry/Consecration in Christian Management and Leadership.
Currently, Mrs. Priester lends her service and talent to many areas. She is the Executive Director of the Community Economic Empowerment Corporation (CEEC) and the Overseer and Organizer of the Little Lambs Child Care Development Center which accommodates (100) childcare children , (50) Latch-Key before and after school children which was founded by Senior/Pastor, Michael L. Priester in 1998.
Mrs. Priester is also the founder of the “Women of Virtue Ministry” (Proverbs 31:10) She believes a woman who knows the beauty of daily purpose, order and focus; that kind of beauty that can go far in reaching a woman’s personal life, her marriage, her family, and work relationships.
While her obligations to ministerial commitments are a priority, Minister Priester knows that her other covenant relationships are well maintained. She faithfully serves as her husband’s helpmate and as an involved mother to their five (5) children: Elisha, Elizabeth, Jessica, Kayla and Michelle.
On January 7, 2007, Minister Jessie L. Priester acknowledged her call into the Ministry to preach, teach and evangelize the word of God. On April 15, 2007, Minister Priester preached her initial sermon entitled “The Silence of the Lamb”. Minister Priester is an anointed, gifted preacher/teacher, and conference speaker. Minister Priester celebrates this new order from God and continues to walk faithfully with God everyday.
